HSBC HSBC Life Emerald Legacy Life III HSBC Life Goal Builder II
HSBC Life Singapore said it has launched “enhanced versions” of three of its life insurance solutions to connect more strongly with high net worth clients.
The solutions are HSBC Life Diamond Prestige IUL II, HSBC Life Emerald Legacy Life III, and HSBC Life Goal Builder II.
“The enhancements are designed with Singapore’s growing affluent and high net worth segment in mind, supporting complex wealth planning needs like long-term financial protection, intergenerational wealth transfer, and capital preservation,” HSBC said in a statement.
The organisation cited the Knight Frank Wealth Report 2024, showing that Singapore’s HNW population is on the rise and that its ultra-rich segment is slated to grow by more than 15 per cent between 2023 and 2028. HSBC said that needs from the mass-affluent market segment are also growing.
“Affluent and high net worth individuals and families often have cross-border assets and complex, multi-generational wealth needs,” Ouling Lu, chief product proposition officer at HSBC Life Singapore said. “With these demographics on the rise in Singapore, insurance solutions that offer legacy certainty, estate liquidity, capital preservation and protection against volatility can provide stability, simplicity and predictability as part of a diversified and integrated wealth strategy.”

HSBC Life Diamond Prestige IUL II
An enhanced version of HSBC Life’s flagship indexed universal life plan, Diamond Prestige IUL II provides lifelong protection alongside long-term capital growth potential. The plan now offers access to three new indices in addition to the S&P 500 Index: The Nasdaq-100 Index; the S&P US Tactical Multi-Asset Index that offers a crediting interest multiplier of 220 per cent (current assumed rate) of the index’s positive returns; and the S&P Global Diversified Index that offers a crediting interest multiplier of 108 per cent (current assumed rate) of the index’s positive returns and a 1 per cent floor rate to protect against negative returns.
This refreshed whole life insurance solution provides lifelong protection alongside enhanced flexibility for wealth transfer. Clients can choose from single premium or limited premium payment terms of five, 10, or 15 years – enabling earlier legacy planning that can be customised to align with financial goals. The limited premium plan offers coverage for death and terminal illness up to age 120, along with a guaranteed cash value of up to 100 per cent of premiums paid, beyond year 40.
Available exclusively through HSBC's Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) channel, this investment-linked plan is designed to support medium- to long-term goals such as wealth accumulation, retirement, and children’s education. One of the key enhancements is an increased welcome bonus of up to 55 per cent, to provide an upfront boost to account value.
